THE THUMBELLINA DIALOGUE

The Thumbellina

           

A long time ago, far away an old woman was sitting in her chair. She thinking how happy if she would have a child.

The old woman       : Oh Dear, im too old to have a child. Meanwhile, I don’t                                                   have husband to make a child. God, please give me child to                                             accompany me as long as im alive

Then she heard knock door in outside, she frightened because she never had a friend when she still young until now. With bravery she openend it slowly and said.

The old woman       : Hey! Who are you ?

The lady                  : Don’t be afraid, I here to help you. Please open this door

The old woman       : No, I don’t! I don’t believe you ! Please go away from my house!

The lady                  : Please, trust me. Im not intending to kill you. Please, please open                                   it (with distressed) And if you let me in, I’ll give you a wish

The old woman       : Are you sure? Ok, I will open it

The lady                  : Yes, im sure. Oh thanks!

The old woman let she in firstly and then she saw her dress…

The old woman       : Oh god, your dress so dirty. What are you doing ? Why your                                   dress so dirty? Are you astray?

The lady                  : Hmm, I think like that

The old woman       : Ok, you can wash up your body. If you done you can call me. I’ll                                   bring my dress for you. Then you can eat that food what ever you                                   like, okay?

The lady                  : Oh, thanks. You’re so kind!

The old woman       : Haha, thanks too. If you don’t mind, you can stay one night in                                         my house

The lady                  : Ok, thanks!

After this, the lady have done to washed up her body. Then, the old woman wondering she was really beautiful after wash up her body. And then she talked with lady so long until the time show they at 9 pm

The lady                  : Hoamm, I feel sleepy                 

The old woman       : Me too. I wanna go to my bedroom

The lady                  : Umm, may I sleep with you?

The old woman       : Ok, no problem

The lady slept soundly all night long anf then before she left she say

The lady                    : Before I leave, how about your wish?

The old woman         : My wish?

The lady                    : Yes, your wish. What do you want?

The old woman         : I want a child

The lady                    : What?! What did you say?

Then the old woman repeated what she said

The old woman       : I want a child

The lady was astonished what the old woman say. Then she thought to her about most people’s wishes to be richest in the world, most powerful person, the smartest, the prettiest. But different than people wishes

The lady                    : I so proud and respect about your wish. I hope she can bring                                            your life more happier

The old woman         : Thank you madam, thank you! I hope god give you long life

The lady                    : Now, give your hand to me (the old woman gave her hand to the                                     lady)

The lady                    : This is the seed, plant this seed, water it carefully, watch over                                      it and do all the things with your love. Then you will have a                                            child

The old woman so happy, she wil get a child from this seed! Then the old woman say thanked to her but..

The old woman       : Thanks a lot! Thanks! Wait, where is she? Why she gone so fast?                                    Hey, Where are you!

The lady was gone! Then she ran to the backyard and started, she did all those thing the lady have told her to.

The next day, the flower bloomed! Inside the flower there was a beautiful girl who was the size of the old woman’s thumb! She startled but gladly too. So she called her Thumbellina. Then the old woman made her dress out of golden threads and gave her walnut shell to her bedroom.

Many years later, Thumbellina grow to a beautiful girl. When thumbellina sleep the old woman left Thumbelina alone to found food for their breakfast and lunch.

The old woman       : Dear, I want to find some food for our breakfast and lunch Don’t                                   forget to locked the door

Thumbellina            : Hmm.. (continue her sleep)

The old woman       : Okay, bye dear!

After the old woman left thumbellina alone, the frog’s minister come and then she kidnap thumbellina when thumbellina still sleep.

Frog’s minister        : How beautiful you are! It isn’t weird if your majesy choose you                                     for prince’s wife

Thumbellina woke up

Thumbellina            : (surprise) Hey, who are you? Let me go! Hey!

Frog’s minister        : Shut up! Follow me to be prince’s wife
Thumbellina            : What?! Are you crazy?

Frog’s minister        : This isn’t my wish. I just follow king’s command

Thumbellina            : No,I don’t want .I don’t want to married with the prince of toad!                                     Are you crazy? It’s not queer if the human get married with the                                        toad?

Frog’s minister        : If you don’t want,I already to prepare a rope for banded you.

                                   Do you want it?

Thumbellina            : What? But,I have same answer. I don’t want to follow                                                     you. Okay?

Frog’s minister        : Stop! (from behind,frog’s mnister directly banded Thumbelina’s                                      hand).Don’t continue this dialogue. Follow me, now!

Thumbellina            : What are you doing? Let me go now!

Frog’s minister        : Shut up, don’t speak again

Thumbellina and the minister of toad going to the castle.But,cause too tired and far,at the middle of trip they going to the shack at jungle.

Frog’s minister        : For a while,we can stay in here.But,you must follow me again to                                    continue go to castle for meet the prince.

Thumbellina            : Hmmm,okay.I want to meet him.But,I have one request for                                             you.

Frog’s minister        : Okay,what is it?

Thumbellina            :  I’m hungry now. So you must give me some  fruits and the                                               most important is a big khuldi fruit. Okay,now you leave me                                           and go out to the jungle!

Frog’s minister        : Yeah, if it’s your wish.

Then,the minister of toad go to the jungle to give some fruit,specially khuldi fruits.He doesn’t know what effect from khuldi fruit it.

One hours later,the minister of toad come back to the shack.

Frog’s minister        : Thumbellina,your order is come! (bring the basket)

Thumbellina            : Okay,thank you.Hmm,I want to taste it (open the basket). If you                                     want some,please take it.But,the khuldi fruit is mine.

Frog’s minister        : Yeah,thank you.

And finally,left the khuldi fruit.

Thumbellina            : Hmmm,I’m to saturated. But,one more,beside it,it’s too big!

Frog’s minister        : No,I still hungry.

Thumbellina            : Great,please eat that khuldi!

Frog’s minister        : Are you sure? You give to me?

Thumbellina            : Sure.

Frog’s minister        : Thanks! (eat khuldi fruit)

After minister of toad eat a big khuldi fruit,he feel so sleepy and no matter that he remember.

Frog’s minister        : Hmmm,I’m feel so sleepy and don’t can remember                                                          something. Umm,I don’t can lead it .I will sleep.

Thumbellina            : (look minister of toad)It’s looks truth.Yeah,my plan is succeed.

Then, Thumbellina return to home, but she doesn’t know she astrayed. While the old woman came back to home, she shocked when Thumbellina gone. She run away surrounding house, but can’t found Thumbellina anyway. Then she decided to go forest.

The old woman       : Thumbellina…Thumbellina…where are you?

The old woman searched Thumbellina until surrounding the forest.Then the old woman listen the girl voice like Thumbellina.

Thumbellina             : Help me…help me…

The old woman        : Thumbellina? Is it you?

Thumbellina             : Yeah,help me please!

The old woman        : Ok,where are you Thumbellina?

Thumbellina             : I’m in he behind of the biggest tree Mom.I’m alone,I’m very                                     afraid.

The old woman        : Ok Thumbellina, waiting me.

Finally,the old woman can find and rescue Thumbellina.Then the old woman

brought Thumbellina go home and happily ever after.
